ACTIVITIES OF THE WEEKS THAT WERE

KIRINYAGA UNIVERSITY TEAM PARTICIPATED AND EXCELED IN KUSA CENTRAL CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT AT EMBU UNIVERSITY ON JANUARY 20 – 21, 2018

KyU teams participated in and registered commendable performance in the in KUSA central conference tournament held at Embu University on January 20-21, 2017 in an event at which seven (7) universities participated. Kirinyaga University team registered exemplary performance and emerged position 1 of 7 universities in Swimming men and women, Position 2 of 7  in Karate men and Position 3 of 7 universities in hockey women.

KyU was awarded trophies and certificates in recognition of their sterling performance.

The office of the Vice Chancellor KyU and that of the Deputy Vice Chancellor, ASA congratulate on behalf of the entire KyU fraternity, our teams for the sterling performance and wish them well as they prepare to represent the University in the forthcoming events.

KIRINYAGA UNIVERSITY TEAM EXCELED IN KUSA CENTRAL GAMES HELD AT SOUTH EASTERN KENYA UNIVERSITY ON JANUARY 27-28, 2018

KyU teams participated and registered commendable performance in the KUSA Central games held at South Eastern Kenya University on January 27-28, 2018 in an event at which 6 universities participated, Kirinyaga University emerged position 1 of 6 in Badminton men, Table Tennis men and women, Position 2 of 6 in Handball women and position 3 of 6 in Rugby men.

KyU teams were awarded trophies and certificates for the sterling performance. Consequently, the teams will also represent KUSA-Central Conference in the KUSA National play offs to be held on March 22-25, 2018 at Taita Taveta University.  Kirinyaga University will represent the KUSA-Central Conference in Badminton men, Table tennis for men and women and handball women.
